Lamb Burgers with Cheats Mint Mayo

Full of flavour these are my secret weapon at a summer barbecue

Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams Lamb Mince
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tsp Rosemary Leaves
  • 1 tsp Thyme Leaves
  • Season with Salt & Pepper

Cheats Mint Mayo

  • 5 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Mint Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Patties
    Preheat a griddle pan, grill or barbecue
    Finely chop the Rosemary & Thyme and finely grate the Garlic cloves.
    Mix with the Lamb mince, work quickly to avoid the meat getting tough.
    Divide into 4 equal portions and flatten into patties.
    Season the outside with Salt & Pepper.
  • Cook the Burgers
    Place the burgers in your preheated griddle pan or on the barbecue or under the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes turning every couple of minutes.
    During this time make your Mint Mayo, simply mix together the Mayomnnaise and Mint Sauce set aside.
  • Serving Time
    Serve the burgers in a toasted bun, (you can toast them in the griddle pan if you need to now) with lettuce, sliced tomato and crowned with Mint Mayo.

Notes

Leftovers Tip

If you have made too many patties you can freeze them uncooked and then cook from frozen simply increase the cooking time to 12-16 minutes.
If the burgers leftover are cooked crumble up and heat in a frying pan then add to green salad leaves with feta, green grapes, crispy croutons and dollops of mint mayo.
